Investment in machinery

21.07.2016

Gemtec invests in new machines and optimizes processes. By moving to a new administration building previous year, more space for mechanical manufacturing was created.

Gemtec expands their machinery park investing in a new Amada press brake with a maximum bending length of 2000 mm and pressing force of 50 tonnes. The investment Amada press brakeAmada press brakeyields benefits in the efficiency of working processes: The machine including software enables the staff to generate complete programs directly by 3D models during the construction phase instead of setting by the user while working at the machine. As a result we are obtaining higher capacity utilisation of machinery along with high added value in the manufacturing. The purchase allows with minimum energy double high-throughput. For the two existing press brakes the software will be adjusted.

Next year an investment in an Amada punch / laser combination is scheduled, which is equipped with 200 kN punching tonnage and maximum continuous power output of 2000 Watt.
