The Rights of Woman

Rädda mig ur dyn Ellington Kyssande vind – Lars-Erik LarssonText: Ps. 65: 15 "Rescue me from sinking in the mire" is a short, intense piece, which is about the cry: the cry outwards loud, to draw attention and be heard far, and the cry inwards focused, almost soundless, like a prayer. The singer performs a "kulning," a vocal technique once used in mountain pastures to call animals and communicate over long distances. Together with the alto saxophone, this creates a very special and distinctive sound. Rdda mig
