Description
Interestingly given the style of the vintage this isn’t quite a big and robust as it usually is which should permit it to be approachable after only 6 to 8 years yet it has the stuffing to effortlessly develop over 15 to 18
the fruits are sweet
the lack of a new Monfortino might be good or bad news
but I look forward to doing so the next time around
Since 2002 there's been no Cabernet in the blend
Malescot St Exupery other_regions Interestingly given the style ofStill deeply colored, the wine instantly pops with smoke, blackberry, boysenberry, espresso bean, licorice and black cherry notes. Dense, full and plush, the mid palate and finish is packed with the layers of dense, opulently textured, juicy, black fruits and cherry liqueur. The wine was made from a blend of 55% Cabernet Sauvignon and 37% Merlot, 6% Cabernet Franc and 2% Petit Verdot.
