I suspect that this will ultimately come together with 5-ish or so years of bottle age but it’s not clear that it will ultimately surpass either the Bâtard or the Chevalier

There is again a lovely sense of energy to the detailed, stony and tautly muscular flavors that possess focused power that seems to build on the youthfully austere, sappy and impressively long finish. This is a classically styled Santenots that will also need at least some patience.
