quite rich but not overpowering

There is a sense of coiled up energy here and the finish just leaves you breathless

Mild reduction knocks down the nose but it seems reasonably clear that the underlying fruit is ripe

Here too there is excellent energy to the precise, muscular and stony large scaled flavors that brim with dry extract on the firmly structured and compact finale. This built to age effort is decidedly muscular but not massive and a wine that should also amply repay extended cellaring.
