The 12-inch probe can be safely trimmed down to a minimum of 3 inches (76 mm) without affecting the integrity of the sensing element
It is functionally identical and uses the same mounting interface for CGT water trim valves
leading to continuous steam loss
It is recommended to replace the gasket during the installation of a new pilot assembly
