Les Cras and Crapousuets)

though the drought in 2016 means that there is slightly less Cabernet Franc

the acidity is good

perfectly ripe and balanced nose where ripe stone fruit aromas such as peaches and mirabelles are displayed in the first moments along with some dashes of fresh lime or lemon juice on a lobster fished out of the Atlantic just a short while before

I'd be happy to drink it

Joseph Colin, Chassagne Montrachet Blanc Vintage:2020 Les Cras and Crapousuets)(from Les Meix Goudard, Blanchots Dessous and En Journoblot). Here there is a whiff of the exotic with nectarine and lychee nut nuances adding breadth to the resin and rosemary oil aromas. There is once again good vibrancy and detail to the delicious and moderately powerful medium weight flavors that conclude in a frank and rustic finale that offers acceptable depth and persistence. The gas is noticeable so I suggest decanting this first. 88 2024+
