The 2015 Termanthia is a selection from 120-year-old ungrafted Tinta de Toro vines from six plots that fermented in French oak vats with commercial yeasts and matured in barrels for 22 months

Fresh and ripe aromas include those of green fruit

Here the wood is so subtle as to be all but invisible as it easily allows the riper and denser mix of both white and yellow orchard fruit

but then it shows a bit of firmness on the finish

Roche Bellene, Volnay Clos Chenes Vintage:2010 The 2015 Termanthia is aRipe and again reasonably fresh aromas include those of various dark berries, warm earth and discreet floral wisps. The rich, concentrated and solidly powerful larger scaled flavors are also somewhat grippy and quite serious though in this case there is a reasonable chance this will age out successfully. With that said, this is unlikely to make for especially interesting early drinking.
