dark chocolate and anise
Far less impressive after bottling than it was from cask
pure bouquet with blackberry
Rich and opulent for Petrus (maybe the most opulent that Jean-Claude Berrouet ever made) and yet it retains a sense of symmetry and freshness on the finish that I think is unique to this Pomerol
only Tempranillo is used (except for the white which is produced exclusively with Viura)
Meo Camuzet, Vosne Romanee Chaumes other_regions_italy dark chocolate and anise(from a 2 ha parcel). Moderate wood influence sets off notably ripe liqueur like aromas of cassis, plus and a lovely array of spice and floral elements. The charmingly round and seductively textured mediumbodied flavors possess a caressing mouthfeel before culminating in a lingering finish that moderately tightens up on the balanced and lingering finish.
