Cask Share - 100-year-old Danish barley aged in bourbon casks (Germany) flaske just like our whiskyWhat did whisky taste like 100 years ago? If it had been made in Denmark, it might have tasted like this. The cask is being filled with spirit made from our 100 year old Imperial barley, revived from a handful of grains preserved in the Nordic Gene Bank and grown in our own fields. It is left to age in a fresh 125 litre ex bourbon cask. An honest expression, where the unique character of the Imperial barley comes through clearly, with notes of dusty
