The name Boucheroite comes from the Arabic "bu sherwit," which means "pieces of clothing scraps" and refers to the rugs being woven from wool and cotton fabric remnants. This gives each rug its own story and a very unique character. The rugs are primarily made of cotton and can be machine washed on a gentle cycle.
