These Afghan carpets are hand knotted in villages and workshops in Afghanistan and are famous for their beautiful red hues. Some of the main features of these rugs are their recurring hexagons, diamonds, Yomut motifs and the pattern that resembles an elephant footprint. The wool is soft and therefore cosy to play, step or walk.
