Muskatnød (Nutmeg), hel Blå pickles and spiced hot drinksOrganic Nutmeg is a large oval seed from the fruit of a tree native to the Moluccas. Whole seeds retain their flavour much longer than ground nutmeg, and can easily be ground at home with a mill or grater. Nutmeg is toxic when eaten in large quantities, but the strength of the spice means that only a little is needed to flavour a dish.
